Is it worth buying a bargain printer if it is on offer in-store or online?

Common Mistakes in Buying a Bargain Printers that may also Avoid Compatible Feature of Ink Cartridges
We are constantly bombarded with the sale of cheap printers in Currys, PC World, Asda, Tesco and many other large stores. Very often these deals seem too good to true, I mean – an all-in-one printer for Euro 40 – Euro 60? The first thing to do is to enquire why the printers are on offer – are they end of line or ex demo, there's nothing wrong with that, it's very likely they are trying to clear stock to make way for newer products. The real work starts in finding out how affordable the replacement ink cartridges are. Do they use a set of 2 ink cartridges or a set of four? 2 ink cartridges can sometimes actually cost more than four depending on the cartridge type. Will the printer work with compatible ink cartridges – it's worth checking that the compatible version of the cartridges are actually available – some printers are so new that the third party manufactures haven't had the time to produce a compatible version and it's still in fact work in progress.

A good way to find out if the compatible cartridges are available is to go online (you could even do this while you are in-store and check out price and availability). The cost of replacement cartridges is actually more important than the initial purchase price of the printer. The printer may last for up to 5 years so the cost of ink over that period of time will determine whether the printer was good value or not. It's worth checking with an online ink supplier to find out if an ink cartridge for the particular printer you are interested in has a good history of compatible with non-originals. There are savings of up to 70% to made using compatibles when compared to original brands. Compatible ink cartridges (these are an ink cartridge that is manufactured by a third party manufacturer rather than the maker of the printer) are great for everyday printing and you can buy them both as an inkjet cartridge and laser toner.

It's unlikely that the store you are purchasing the printer from will give you an unbiased opinion on whether or not you should buy the printer based on the ink cartridges it uses so you may have to carry out the research independently.

Where can I buy the High Quality Printer Ink in Dublin this Christmas?

Buying a new printer can either be a major outlay for some people depending on the model they choose to buy. As always, do some research to find out which printer is most suited to your requirements before you make a purchase. If the printer is for home-use decide how much printing you are likely to do during the year. Is there likely to be more than one person using the printer?

Find the High Quality Ink Cartridges in Dublin this Christmas and Save Money
If you are planning to buy the printer in Dublin either as a replacement or as a gift for Christmas for a friend or colleague then spend some time doing your research on the likely running costs of the printer. Many people overlook the cost of buying replacement ink cartridges in Dublin when initially buying the printer. They are rightly attracted by the sale price of the printer and as we near the end of 2014 the stores are certainly shifting stock to make room for next years lines.

The offers in the stores in Dublin may seem too good to pass, but again the cost of the original brand ink cartridges in Dublin for some of the HP and Epson printers my actually surpass that of the cost of the printer. As part of the research into whether or not to purchase the printer, enquire with the seller if the printer will work with compatible or remanufactured cartridges. If you feel you can’t get an unbiased answer from the store or online supplier, then contact a reputable supplier of printer ink in Dublin who has nothing to gain by selling you the ink apart from repeat business. If the printer generally accepts compatibles without any problems then that printer should become the focus of your enquiry. Of course you may want the wireless facility in the printer, as it’s much handier to have the printer positioned in a different room in the house from where you are actually compiling a document. Contrary to popular belief using compatibles in a wireless printer has no bearing on the function of the printer. For every day general use, compatible ink cartridges in Dublin have no bearing on the performance of a printer wireless or otherwise. The best prices for buying a printer this Christmas may well be in Dublin as opposed to online and of course if you need to return the printer for any reason it’s much handier to do so locally but it’s a given that you must research to cost of the ink for the printer to make the purchase a sound investment.

How to Print Professional Low Cost Christmas Menus for your Restaurant?

As the run in to Christmas gets underway many bars and restaurants are about to introduce their 2014 Christmas menu. Having your menus designed and printed at a Commercial Printers can be costly and sometimes out weight benefits financially. One option is to design and print the menus in-house using your existing inkjet printer or laser printer. Is it cost effective is the first question many of us will ask and will the cost of the ink cartridges being astronomical? We can deal with the cost of the ink later, but first of all some tips on designing the menu. If your menu is going to be A4 (this is a good idea as it will mean you will have no trimming to do) then set up your file in Microsoft Word or Publisher. Typing out the menu is straightforward enough, try and use some different fonts that have the appearance of Christmas.

Save Money on Printing Christmas Menus for Restaurant using Compatible Ink Cartridges

A nice font for the heading with snow on it would look effective. Many of these fonts are available online to download free and will give your menu that real Christmas feel. The layout of the content of the menu is very important, as it will need to display all your meals clearly and be easy for the reader to understand. When your content is typed then you need to decide on the layout – is it going to be one full sheet of A4 information or split into 3 columns and then fold to 1/3 A4 (this would be the size of a DL envelope when it is folded). The next part is the one that worries most people – the design. A good tip is to keep it simple with one background image. Search Google Images for an image you fell would look good as a background – this could be a Christmas scene, a tree or Santa Claus. Another tip here is to search for the image using your filter and only select high quality or Large file. This will ensure that you will have a high-resolution image in the background of your menu.

Now we come to the printing and ‘finishing’ of the menu. You may need up to 100 menus so a part from the paper the next major cost is your ink cartridges. Try to print on the heaviest paper that your printer will allow, this could be around 160gsm – it feels heavier than a standard 100gsm paper but not quite as heavy as a card. Using compatible ink and toner cartridges bought online from as little as 1 Euro per ink cartridge the cost of your printing is suddenly affordable.

When you have printed your menu then you have the choice of presenting the menu as it is or having it nicely finished by laminating or folding depending on your layout preference. Using your own tools and printing with compatible inkjet or laser toner cartridges will give you more control over the cost of printing your restaurant menus this Christmas.

How to Save Money using Compatible Ink Cartridges in Galway?

When it's time to buy a new printer there are plenty of options to consider with great discounts being offered by Epson and HP in an effort to shift old stock and the market becomes saturated with low cost printers. This is great for the consumer but how many people buying a new printer will consider the cost of the ink cartridge in Galway for that printer?

Save Money Using Compatible Ink Cartridges in Galway
The average cost of an original brand Galway ink cartridge is still more than the cost of its equivalent amount of Champagne or Chanel No.5. Ridiculous as it sounds, it can make us look more closely at the cost of replacing ink cartridges when we buy that new printer. If the printer is on sales for 50 Euros we may rush in to buying the printer thinking we have a real bargain, but when we come to replace the ink (which will be very soon as the new printer will only come with a small amount of ink in it) we discover a set of inks cost the same as the printer! Compatible printer ink in Galway is readily available locally and online and a simple check with the seller of the printer (who may or may not be honest enough) as to whether the printer will work with compatible cartridges. Chances are that they will tell you to stay away form the compatibles but if you find a good online supplier who is willing to give you a money back guarantee if they don’t work in your printer, then you are in a no risk position.

People can be rightly concerned about using cheap ink cartridges in Galway, worrying if they will damage the printer but again take reassurance from your ink supplier that they will stand over their product and help sort out any issues you may have. Many compatible ink and toner cartridges are manufactured to the same ISO standards as the original brand cartridges and are actually filled to capacity so you get more ink for your euro (incidentally, there are some online suppliers who are selling high quality ink cartridges for 1 Euro a cartridge as part of a bundle deal).

The savings you make by using compatible ink cartridges in Galway against those of the original brand are too big to ignore and more and more home and business users are making the switch to enjoy low cost printing.

Where can I find the best value Epson compatible T1281 black ink cartridges in Cork?

Shop for Compatible Ink Cartridges for Epson Printer and Get Big SavingsEpson T1281 black ink cartridges are used with over 15 different Epson printers making it one of Epson's most popular inkjet printers. These printers use four ink cartridges in total; black, cyan, magenta and yellow and all are available at present as compatible ink cartridges in Cork. There are over 400% savings to be made by buying the compatibles against the original brand Epson cartridges. These giant savings are generally only available online and although savings are available locally at any ink shop in Cork they won’t be to the same degree. The online suppliers who supply next day delivery to Cork or anywhere in Ireland not only offer next day delivery but also free ink or great value bundle packs.

The Epson inkjet printers that use the T1281/2/3/4 ink cartridges were sold at rock bottom prices across Ireland in an effort to push the brand as low cost but the original brand cartridges can prove costly at around €60 per set of four. In contrast the compatible version is available on line for €13.50 and this includes delivery and a free cartridge! Is there an ink shop in Cork could match this price? The compatible T1821 ink cartridges also have a higher volume level than the original brand at 13ml compared to 3.5ml, that’s 4 times as much ink! The compatible ink and toner cartridges are filled to capacity and therefore last longer.

Epson printers in general don’t normally have any problems accepting the compatible version of cartridge. If there are any issues it’s usually a faulty ‘chip’ on the cartridge and this can be resolved by simply replacing the cartridge. The error message that relates to this problem is normally ‘ink cartridge not recognised’. If this error message appears when you first install the cartridge remove and reinsert, if the error message reappears then replace the cartridge with another. If this message appears after you have been using the printer for a while it’s possible that the cartridge has run out and need replacing. Buying the compatible version of any Epson cartridge either from an ink shop in Cork or online will ensure the home and business user big savings on ink and more affordable printing in general.

Is there any way I can reduce the cost of printing the menus in my restaurant?

Printing menus in a busy restaurant can be expensive especially if you have daily specials that change every week. Many restaurants change their menus daily depending on the season or as a way to increase traffic through the door. Printing up to 100 A4 menus daily can be hard on the printer – more so if it is an inkjet printer as opposed to a laser printer. An inkjet printer will use up ink depending on the content of the menu being printed. If it’s possible to print in black and white that will reduce the amount of printer ink used and if at all possible refrain from printing large colour images.

Get Smart and Easy Ways to Reduce the Cost of Printing Restaurant Menus Using Ink CartridgesThe majority of the cost involved printing the menu comes from two sources; paper and ink cartridges. Ideally the paper can be a 90gm standard bond everyday paper and can be bought in bulk at bargain prices either locally or online. These can then be laminated if required or not if they are throw away on a daily basis. The printer and its ink cartridges are a very important factor in attributing to the cost. Original brand ink cartridges are expensive and will send the cost per sheet printed through the roof. Compatible inkjet cartridges are the biggest factor to take into consideration when trying to save money when printing menus. A typical Epson compatible cartridge can cost a much as 70% less than an original brand ink cartridge.

The compatible ink cartridges for all popular models are available online in bulk and with low delivery costs. Using these cartridges will allow any number of menus to be printed without being overly concerned about the cost. If it’s necessary to print colour images or a logo on the menu the compatible cartridges will allow you to do all this and more while still keeping the cost to a minimum. Some printer will print Duplex (double sided) and while this will not make a difference to the ink consumed by the paper it will mean you only use one sheet of paper instead of two.

A large number of printers will accept compatible or ‘remanufactured’ ink cartridges without any problems. For those rare instances that there is an issue with them – it may be a faulty ‘chip’ on the cartridge and this can be the case with original brand cartridges too – your supplier will simply issue you a replacement after first asking you to carry out a few tests to confirm this.

Switching to compatible ink cartridges will save money and give you the freedom to print a menu for every day without keeping one eye on the cost.
