Where can I find cheap canon ink cartridges in Ireland?

The search for the best value ink cartridges does not always generate the same results as the search for the cheapest ink cartridges in Ireland. There are several things to take into account when you search for Canon inkjet cartridges. There is a vast difference between original brand cartridges and compatibles. The Canon ink cartridges will offer you up to 70% discount against original brand and there are plenty of good quality cartridges currently on the market with Irish suppliers.

Canon compatible inks are of a similar quality to the original brand except for the high-resolution photo printers, this is where you may notice a difference in final print quality. For general every day printing both at home and in the office, compatible cartridges should be more than adequate. The range of printer that use the Canon CLI 521 and CLI 526 ink cartridges work perfectly well with the compatible and provides very satisfactory results. If the printer cartridge is very cheap, unboxed and sold without any form of guarantee then it is probably worth steering clear of. It's better to pay slightly more for a good quality ink cartridge that will give you more reliability than the very cheapest ink cartridge you find. The on-line supplier where you buy the ink (it’s going to be an on-line supplier who will offer you the best deal) should offer a money back guarantee with all the ink cartridges they supply.

Many on-line suppliers will have multipack deals with their ink cartridges and this will certainly bring down the price of an individual ink cartridge. The Canon CLI8 colour ink cartridges are especially good value printing over 420 pages @ 5% coverage. Canon printers can be bought on-line at budget prices but it's worth checking the prices of the replacement cartridges before you buy. Try to avoid false economy by buying a cheap printer that uses expensive cartridges, or worse still, a printer that will not work with compatible inks. A good way to search for a reasonably priced printer is to contact an on-line supplier of compatible inks that will sell you a Canon printer (or any other brand for that matter), that is guaranteed to work with compatibles. This supplier will have tried and tested the printer with it's own range of compatible inks and will stand over any issues that arise with the printer.

You can still take the time consuming trip into town to see if you can finds a parking space or you can order smart order your ink cartridges in Ireland online.

Smart online ordering is a process that eliminates the need for spending too much time randomly searching for your cartridges only to turn up with suppliers here, in the UK and even further afield. When you are searching for ink and toner cartridges in Ireland, first of all make sure that you include the nearest largest city in your Google search. For example if you live in Drogheda, Dundalk or Wicklow, include the search term ink cartridges in Dublin in your search.

These are the terms that will put you in touch with the bigger online suppliers that are trying to capture the sales on ink in Dublin – in other words the bigger cities. These are the ink and toner suppliers that will usually have the best deals and also will have free ink cartridges or gifts to tempt the online shoppers from the bigger cities. Because the larger suppliers are trying to increase their sales of ink in Ireland they are targeting the larger businesses in the hope that one big sale will result in repeat business. So again, if you are in Waterford or Kerry, it’s worth searching for ink cartridges in Cork as the online suppliers again will be targeting the largest city in the south of Ireland based on the market share they hope to gain from that part of Ireland.

Likewise, for the west of Ireland you should be searching for ink cartridges in Galway, you can ignore the local suppliers who may rank in Google for their local address but check out the bigger online shops who offer next day delivery of their ink cartridges in Ireland. Ireland's Best Value HP364 Compatible Ink Cartridges

The HP 364 ink cartridge is one of the most used ink cartridges in Ireland today used in over 50 different models of HP Printer. The highly successful Photosmart range is probably HP's most popular inkjet printer in Ireland. The Photosmart printer uses four HP 364 ink cartridges; Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The standard cartridges unfortunately are not as good value as the high capacity or XL version.

The original brand HP364Xl as you might expect holds double the amount of ink as the standard cartridge (approximately 550 pages). The real savings are with the compatible version of the cartridge with double AGAIN of the ink volume. The compatible HP364XL cartridge is filled to capacity and will hold enough ink to print approximate twice the amount of pages of the original brand cartridge.

How is this everyone will ask? Well, to put it in simple terms, the HP 364 cartridge is filled with different volumes of ink depending on whether it is intended for use as a standard or high capacity ink. The original brand standard ink cartridges is filled with enough ink to print 250 pages and the XL version filled with enough ink to print around 550 pages at 5% coverage. Still, these cartridges are not filled to the top and it’s only when the compatible version is manufactured that the ink tank is filled to the very top and we get enough ink to print around 1100 pages! This constantly causes confusion among Photosmart owners as they assume that the compatible cartridges that hold all this extra ink are physically bigger and won’t fit in the printer.

The compatible ink cartridge is becoming more widely used and is now available ‘chipped’ and that means the cartridge recognition by the printer is no longer the issue it once was. The savings on the cost of using a compatible HP364 cartridge against the original brand, taking into account the ink volume, is roughly 100%. More and more users are making the switch to compatible especially with the great incentives on offer to buy the compatibles such as free gifts or free ink cartridges.

The availability of the compatible cartridges has revolutionised the way we buy HP364 ink cartridges with the benefit coming down on the side of the printer owner for a change.
