At Last, Printing with HP Ink Cartridges is Affordable

HP Ink Cartridges with Multipack Offers HP printers have long been considered among the best in the business and are widely used both at home and in the office. However, until recently the ink cartridges have proven to be an expensive outlay especially if you are using the original brand cartridges. Why not choose the compatible cartridges people ask, well it is fair to say that HP don’t want you to use the compatible ink cartridges as this affects from their profit. In some cases it appears that HP have been offering firmware downloads to users of their printers in an attempt to increase the performance of the printer but in addition make it more difficult for you to use compatible or remanufactured ink cartridges. Let us take a look at one of more popular HP cartridges that is actually used in over 50 different HP printer models.

HP 364 ink Cartridges

The HP 364 ink cartridges are certainly widely used and up until recently have only been available as an original brand cartridge. The first cloned version of the cartridge to appear was the remanufactured HP 364 ink cartridge. This was moderately successful with some issues over the ink cartridge recognition. This was chiefly because the ‘chip’ from the old cartridge was reading as ‘used’ and therefore giving some confusion to the users and the printer! More recently the cloned compatible version of the cartridge has been launched and this has been hailed as a success due to the technology used to create it. The standard original brand HP 364 ink cartridge has a volume level of 6ml and will print approximately 250 pages @ 5% coverage. The compatible standard cartridge will hold up to 4 times that amount.

HP 364XL ink Cartridges

The HP 364 ink cartridge has an extra large version that is commonly known as the XL. This cartridge is physically the same size as the standard cartridge but the ink tank is filled to a higher level than it’s counterpart. The original brand HP 364XL cartridge has a volume level of 13ml that will print approximately 500 pages @ 5% coverage but the compatible version is filled to capacity with 18.6ml of ink. This is an increase of almost 50% above the original brand cartridge.

The quality and reliability of the compatible HP 364 ink cartridges are far superior to anything previously manufactured and as a rule of thumb have a failure rate of less than 1%. This must surely make them the buy of 2013 for HP users everywhere and with over 50 printers that accept these cartridges; it’s good news to be shared.
